About the position

The School of Nursing and Midwifery undertakes a wide range of teaching and research programs in the area of Nursing, Midwifery, Maternal and Child care, Aged care, Health service design, Wellness, Time critical nursing, Supportive care and Wound management. These interconnected programs combine to form centres of excellence based within our clinical networks and Research Centres.

This position is expected to develop, coordinate and teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses to deliver a high quality learning experience that engages students via various methods.  You will engage in clinical and conceptual nursing research and contribute to writing up research findings for publications and dissemination.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will possess a PhD and/or Masters in Nursing or a related discipline, or currently enrolled in a PhD.  You will be registered or eligible to register with AHPRA with current or recent participation in clinical nursing practice.  You will bring demonstrated competence in teaching and curriculum development in tertiary nursing education, as well as evidence of high quality and/or high impact research.
