SSNAP Data Analyst

Department :
 Department of Population Health Sciences

The School of Population Health and Environmental Sciences (https://www.kcl.ac.uk/lsm/index.aspx) is seeking to appoint a Data Analyst.

The Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) is the single source of stroke data in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

This role will focus heavily on data analysis and interpretation for reports and peer reviewed publications, in collaboration with the Stroke Programme team. It will therefore require exceptional mathematical and programming ability as well as experience in using statistical software and writing scientific reports or publications. The role will also involve working closely with the web development team (internal and external) in order to achieve accurate, useful and statistically relevant automated online reporting, and with participating hospitals to allow them to make maximum use of their own data. This will be under the direction of the SSNAP Steering Group. The challenge for the SSNAP Data Analyst will be to make the best possible use of this data, with the ultimate goal of the information being used to improve quality of care and outcomes for stroke patients.

Two fixed-term contracts are available:
1 x 1 year
1 x 9 months
This is a full-time post.
The selection process will include a panel interview.
