About the role
The opportunity exists to join a high-performance team, ranked number one in Australia for psychology (QILT 2019), and in the top four percent worldwide (Times Higher Education University Rankings 2019).
The School is in an exciting growth phase and the Bachelor of Psychological Science offered at the Gold Coast campus from early 2019.
The Lecturer in Psychology will work closely with the existing team of academic staff to develop, align and grow the programs. They will actively contribute to the School through student centred teaching practice and contribute to the research and/or scholarship of teaching profile of the School.
You will be an energetic academic, ready to commit to the University’s values and priorities, engaged and innovative in your approach to the role, and keen to make a contribution to the University and the community through your activities.
You will display a student centred approach to your teaching, enjoy applying new and existing technology, a commitment to reflective teaching practice and capacity and/or experience in blended and online teaching modes.
You will have experience teaching and developing psychology units in a university setting, as well as a proven track record in scholarship and research, with a focus preferably on psychophysiological experimental research.
