The Research Assistant will assist Dr. Rajender Reddy and his clinical research staff with the following duties: drafting and publishing multiple scholarly papers, assisting in the preparation of national and international conference presentations and book chapters, observing the practice of medicine in outpatient and inpatient settings (and consenting patients for observational studies), data collection for a variety of research studies,related to Hepatology, preparation of IRB proposals, assisting the clinical research staff in tasks, including laboratory tests.

High School Diploma and 1-2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. College coursework or degree a plus. Applicants must possess the ability to think critically and independently, and have a strong interest in scientific reading and writing. The candidate must be driven to acquire in-depth knowledge on a variety of topics in medicine. Familiarity with PowerPoint, Word and Excel is required. Experience with EndNote and scientific referencing is preferred.
