The Associate Director of Data Operations (ADDO) is a two-pronged role that serves the Wharton People Analytics Initiative, while providing support for the research and teaching endeavors of the Faculty Co-Director of Wharton People Analytics (WPA).
The ADDO is responsible for the collection, maintenance and analysis of data, as well as the development of the systems and tools used to facilitate WPA’s operational activities, strategic planning, and audience outreach. The ADDO works in partnership with the WPA Business Administrator and Wharton Computing and Instructional Technology (WCIT) to ensure successful implementation and support of these data systems to facilitate the initiative’s work. The Associate Director also supports the production of research briefs, finds new applications for teaching materials, furthers website development, and other related activities as required for the Faculty Co-Director of WPA.
This position is dual reporting, 50% to the Faculty Co-Director of WPA and 50% to the Executive Director of WPA.
A Bachelor s Degree or more and 2 -3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience with data analytics required. Experience with Qualtrics, Strata, and D3 required. Excellent written and verbal presentation and interpersonal skills necessary, along with a collaborative spirit and an interest in learning.
