Research Associate in Imaging Informatics

Department : Cancer Imaging

We are looking to recruit a Research Associate in Imaging Informatics as part of The National Cancer Imaging Translational Accelerator (NCITA). NCITA is a £10M Cancer Research UK (CRUK) project that addresses the gaps in translation of imaging biomarkers either as tools for clinical trials or to aid clinical decision making.

This is an exciting opportunity that will suit either a scientist with a flair for computer programming or a developer keen to apply their skills at the cutting edge of imaging informatics in cancer research. You will be working with Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in radiology, on a programme whose overall aims are to apply advanced information- and image-processing techniques to the study of tumour classification and response to treatment.

This post is associated with the Data Repository Unit of the NCITA consortium, but also embedded within the Department of Cancer Imaging, School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences at KCL.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31/12/2023.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a panel interview and a presentation.
