Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Anaesthesiology (Ref.: 495559), to commence as soon as possible for two to three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Anaesthesiology, Cardiology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline, with experience in animal work, cell culture, cellular and molecular biology. Preference would be given to those who have been specifically trained in the following areas: confocal imaging, animal surgery, in vivo and in vitro models of myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury in small animals and in primary cardiomyocyte cultures. Applicants should also have a good command of both written and spoken English, good organizational skills, the ability to multi-task with attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team with self-motivation.
