This is an exciting and dynamic time in the University’s strategic development. With high application rates, we have expanded our campus to accommodate an increase in student numbers and continue to introduce new and exciting courses which will enable us to stand out in an increasingly competitive environment and contribute to the economic and cultural success of Leeds.

This newly created role will contribute to the team whilst overseeing the running of the University’s new postgraduate programmes and monitor the delivery of the Master of Arts courses ensuring that they provide a high quality learning experience to students using a variety of methods. The Head of Postgraduate Studies will work with the postgraduate team to support the postgraduate student experience and development to a vibrant postgraduate culture. In addition, they must be able to demonstrate independence and competence in leading and managing level 7 provision, being able to undertake independent research activities and develop industry links for the course and external opportunities for students.
