Training Associate, Sargent College, Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation
The main function of the Training Associate position is to develop, market, implement and evaluate professional development training, through workshops, webinars, online courses, conferences and other formats. The topic areas of the educational efforts are employment, rehabilitation and recovery for individuals with mental health conditions, particularly serious mental illnesses.This position is funded by grants and is contingent on continued grant funding.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred with three to five years of experience required.
The training Associate must be able to create well written and easily accessible materials to support stakeholder groups learning (ie. Fact sheets, guides, handouts, web based resources etc.) The person must be able to create and maintain networks of relationships with stakeholders ie. people in mental health recovery, family members, vocational rehabilitation counselors, mental health and rehabilitation providers, peer support workers, employment specialists, employers, academics and researchers.
