Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 495535), to commence as soon as possible for two to three years, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree preferably in Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, Biological Science or a related discipline, with experience in molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, and/or animal handling techniques.  They should be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.  The appointee will participate in research projects relating to developing cutting-edge genome engineering, synthetic biology, high-throughput screening, and combinatorial genetics technologies, and their applications in devising new therapeutic strategies against cancers and neurodegenerative diseases.  He/She will also gain research experiences in CRISPR technology and high-throughput screening techniques, as well as participate in multidisciplinary research.
