Job description

The Tier 4 Compliance Team are the part of Academic Registry tasked with ensuring that Coventry University and its international student cohort remain compliant with the UKVI regulations concerning Tier 4 sponsors.  In doing so, Tier 4 work closely with international students, faculties, subsidiaries and professional services across the CU Group as well as external stakeholders.

The post holder will contribute to the smooth operation and on-going processes of the Tier 4 Compliance Team and will provide support, advice and guidance through daily contact with international students by email, telephone and in person.  Post holders will also support the Senior Registry Officers in four key areas of compliance:

  • Enrolment/ Document Management
  • Visa compliance 
  • Attendance monitoring
  • Student Record Management 

The successful applicant will be highly motivated and able to demonstrate a flexible and reliable can-do attitude.  Possessing sound administration skills, you will be able to use your initiative to proactively resolve problems as they arise.  You will be able to demonstrate attention to detail and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

You should have excellent customer care skills and a proactive approach. You will be organised and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.  Experience of working within a higher educational environment would be an advantage. This is a permanent full-time role and flexibility with working hours on occasion will be required.
