Overview

We are currently recruiting an experienced technical Campaign Coordinator to form part of our Customer Strategy and Planning team. As a Campaign specialist, you will be responsible for creating, executing and optimising multi-faceted campaigns in marketing automation software – plus ensuring the structure for delivery and value generated is clear for a range of senior stakeholders.

Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, this position is responsible for managing campaign execution across various digital channels, delivering high impact email, telephony and SMS campaigns on-time and with flawless execution. Using insights and customer intelligence, the Campaign Coordinator will execute end-to-end programs and deliver remarkable results. The role will be required to implement a Campaign prioritisation & selection process across this University. Customer Experience is key in this role – Campaigns need to be evaluated and optimised with a strong focus on making life easier for students and staff, and delivering value – whilst also focusing on engagement.

Key selection criteria:

  • Experience providing insights and campaign optimisation/recommendations
  • Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, establish credibility with leadership teams and partner with wider business teams to deliver results
  • 2+ years of direct digital marketing experience (preferably 1+ year experience using Exact Target / Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or advanced knowledge on other email platforms)
  • Ability to set up and maintain a structure for Campaign selection and prioritisation, and report regularly on progress and potential opportunities of live campaigns.
  • Demonstrate value and optimise Campaigns – ensuring focus on Customer Experience, Ease for customer, Value returned and outputs.
  • Experience planning, delivering, and executing engaging and timely email campaigns
  • HTML5/CSS and Javascript preferred and knowledge of SQL is a plus 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under time pressure while maintaining strict attention to detail and deliver to tight deadlines while managing conflicting priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to act independently and with exceptional attention to detail

The role:

  • Working closely with Brand & Marketing, as well as key internal stakeholders, the Campaign coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be to create, execute and optimise multi-faceted campaigns in marketing automation software. 
  • Managing campaign execution across various digital channels, delivering high impact email and SMS campaigns on-time and with flawless execution. Using insights and customer intelligence, the Campaign coordinator will execute end-to-end programs and deliver remarkable results.
  • Building, deploying and reporting on email campaigns
  • Manage planning, execution, ongoing reporting, quality control, approvals and optimisation of email campaigns (manage internal analytics and dashboards, provide optimisation and real time targeting recommendations) including designing implementation test plans (A/B and multivariate)
  • Own all aspects of trafficking, optimisation, and troubleshooting with a sustained focus on efficiency and scalability
  • Review campaign results regularly and provide recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders
