Your new role

 This is an exciting opportunity for you to use your strong applied psychology experience to:

  • Coordinate and teach applied postgraduate psychology units
  • Supervise students on placement and liaise with placement agencies
  • Marking of research, assignments and exam

 You will bring to the role

Essential

  • Registered as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Board approved supervisor for provisional psychologists (5+1 students)
  • High level teaching skills and a reflective approach to teaching.
  • Proficiency in use of IT systems and online educational technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.

Desirable

  • Endorsement in either counselling psychology or clinical psychology
  • Board approved supervisor for Master of Psychology (Counselling Psychology) students
  • An understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary education practice relevant to the discipline.
