Clinical Research Fellow

Department : Health Service & Population Research

This role is for a clinical research fellow to lead on a 3-year doctoral research project titled “Improving safety and quality in mental healthcare”. Successful completion will lead to a PhD. The fellow will be based within the Centre for Implementation Science (CIS) and supervised by two of the senior Centre Faculty, Professor Nick Sevdalis and Dr Claire Henderson.

The Centre has been awarded a PhD Fellowship grant from The Healthcare Improvement Studies Institute (www.thisinstitute.cam.ac.uk), which fully funds the above project.

The fellow will be supported to generate peer-reviewed outputs from the project; submit abstracts for conference presentation and dissemination; and present at Centre, KCL and THIS seminars. The postholder will join a large and vibrant group of Doctoral students, researchers and Faculty, which provide an excellent environment for a successful and productive PhD.

Please note that a non-clinical stipendiary studentship is being advertised on a separate website. There is only one position available.

The salary will be paid on the clinical research fellow grade, from £34,731- £37,957 per annum, inclusive of £2,162 per annum London Allowance.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 3 years.

This is a full-time role (40hrs).

The selection process will include a panel interview.
