The Finance Department is an exciting and collaborative department continuously evolving to meet the needs of a wide variety of customers with students at the heart of everything we do, to support and enable the University to achieve its bold vision.

The role

A key member of the wider Financial Planning and Analysis [FP&A] team providing University wide financial management accounting information and analytics to inform fact based decision making. This role will actively support the FP&A team in the provision of reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis to inform and maximise the University’s financial sustainability.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will be either a part qualified accountant and actively studying towards professional accountancy qualification with relevant experience or someone with considerable on the job experience in similar or related roles.

As a key member of the finance team you will have a track record of developing collaborative working relationships with both finance and non-finance colleagues in order to deliver individual and team objectives.

You should be engaging, inquisitive, articulate, and empathetic in nature. You should have confidence in your own ability, and be skilled at planning and organising your time to ensure your work is delivered to a high standard within the required timescales. Your approach should be enthusiastic, proactive and flexible.
