Job description
CU Services Limited is a subsidiary of Coventry University Higher Education Corporation and is the company through which the University schools, faculties and professional services deliver and manage commercial contracts, specifically consultancy and professional learning and development programmes. Professional Learning and Development or Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses are designed for and taken by people in employment who are looking to develop their skills and knowledge so as to improve their status within their chosen profession. CPD is an individual employee or employer-led activity that meets the requirements of the workplace, supports company aspirations for highly skilled and productive employees, and facilitates the personal growth and career progression of the individual.
As part of our current growth initiative, we are looking to expand our team and are seeking to appoint an experienced project manager to contribute to the successful implementation of large scale commercial projects.You will have proven experience in preparing and maintaining realistic project plans, activity tracking and providing progress reports to key stakeholders as appropriate.
You will be educated to degree level or will have equivalent work experience and be able to demonstrate successful management of at least one significant external client project from initiation to closure. You will be highly motivated, proactive, creative, challenging, questioning and facilitative in your approach, with a focus on exemplary customer support at all times. You must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative are essential, as are the skills necessary to become immediately effective in the role.
