Clinical Research Fellow

Department : Old Age Psychiatry

The Department of Old Age Psychiatry is seeking to recruit a Clinical Research Fellow to undertake a PhD as part of our drive to develop a cohesive clinical dementia research network. This role is a funded by a three-year Clinical Training Partnership Grant by the Alzheimer's Society. The title of the project is “Cerebrospinal fluid-based prognostic biomarkers in Dementia with Lewy bodies and Parkinson's disease”. The aim is to identify biomarkers and combinations of biomarkers from cerebrospinal fluid, both established Alzheimer's and novel markers, to aid in the diagnosis and prognosis of patients with DLB and PDD. This role is for a medically qualified trainee (ST4 and above). The appointee will be employed as a Clinical Research Fellow.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 3 years.

This is a full-time post.

The selection process will include a panel interview.

Grade and Salary : £34,731 - £39,570 inclusive of London Allowance
