Clinical Research Fellow

Department : Forensic & Neurodevelopmental Sciences

This post is for a combined clinical / research position at specialist trainee level which will suit an individual with MRCP/ MRCPsych or equivalent qualification who is interested in completing a PhD/ MD as part of an out-of-training experience or as springboard for a research career. The post is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding trainee clinician to play a key role in an integrated clinical and research programme for adults with Down syndrome participating in a longitudinal study of Alzheimer's disease.

The successful candidate will have research experience on clinical studies, good knowledge of quantitative research data as well as the ability to deliver high quality patient centred clinical care. The clinical sessions will be undertaken in the Behavioral and Developmental CAG in SLAM.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 3 years.

This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.

The selection process will include a panel interview, an assessment and a presentation.
