ALLIANCE PROGRAM MANAGERMIT Quest for Intelligence, to facilitate and manage engagement with current and prospective Quest research sponsors.  Responsibilities include supporting all aspects of program management related to Quest members and other sponsors under the Quest umbrella; managing the membership process; developing productive relationships that support engagement with Quest member companies; representing Quest leadership at meetings; managing new member on-boarding process; developing meeting/workshop agendas; documenting and ensuring follow-through on action items; working with sponsors to define request for proposal solicitations to faculty; managing all aspects of the proposal solicitation, pre-award, and post-award processes; identifying grant opportunities and other potential funding resources; preparing proposal documents and coordinating research portfolio development; leading education and outreach efforts with faculty to ensure understanding of and compliance with export control regulations, invention disclosure process, and complex terms and conditions; managing preparation of responses/reports to sponsors; preparing documentation/reports/presentations/responses to questions in support of research member engagement; working with fiscal team to ensure sponsor requirements are met; and working on special projects/other duties as requested.  

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in related technical field or management; five years’ experience in science and/or a technical industry; excellent analytical, organizational, supervisory, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills; experience developing and tracking large, complex projects; familiarity with project management concepts/processes; comfort working with personnel across multiple disciplines and levels; cultural sensitivity when dealing with international counterparts; good judgment and discretion with sensitive/confidential matters; and ability to work independently, manage multiple and sometimes changing/conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines.  Familiarity with business law and experience identifying and understanding issues related to intellectual property desirable.  MBA or JD preferred.  Job #17333-8
