Applications are invited for appointments as Part-time Lecturer in the Centre for Applied English Studies (Ref.: 494453) to contribute to the teaching on the M.A. in Applied Linguistics and/or M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (jointly offered with the Faculty of Education) programmes.  We are currently seeking expertise in the area of pronunciation/phonology and its related pedagogies.

A Ph.D. degree in a relevant field is essential. Applicants with relevant teaching experiences at the master’s level will be considered favourably. Appointees may be asked to teach during the day time, in the evenings or both. They may also be invited to supervise M.A. capstone projects in the above area.

The courses will be offered in the first and/or second semester of 2019/20 academic year (i.e. within the period between September 2019 and June 2020).
