This link is an open submission process for all persons applying for a postdoctoral research position within the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Alabama. Persons holding these positions are to conduct research with various faculty members on a variety of projects including biochemistry, molecular biology, neurobiology, virology, physiology, microbiology, systematics and ecology; or solid-state chemistry, inorganic and organic synthesis, materials science and mass spectrometry, molecular spectroscopy, and biomolecules. Other specialties may apply.

Ph.D. required in one or more specialized fields within biology or chemistry, pertinent to the specific job description for which you are applying. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience and in working across disciplines. Please specify in your application letter the specific faculty member and position for which you are applying.

Post-Doctoral positions are non-tenure earning.
