About the position

The Events team at Bond University is a busy, fast-paced environment. The Events Manager will be involved in the management of some of the university’s most important experience events in the annual events calendar, including Bond University’s recruitment, student, internal and external events. Because of this, the Events Manager will liaise closely with various different stakeholders on and off campus.

Another key element to this position will be assisting the General Manager Events in the financial management of the events department providing analysis for each event for future planning purposes.

About the person:

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline and have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in event management, marketing and/or hospitality within a large-scale environment.

The Events Manager will be required to demonstrate extremely high-level organisational skills, time management, staff management and relationship management skills.  They will have advanced skills in public speaking and be able to motivate a room of volunteers or guests to take action. Experience in event evaluation is also essential.

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $79,507 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation.
