The University is seeking to appoint a Pro Vice-Chancellor Education and Arts to lead our largest faculty at Newcastle. The faculty is a leader in teaching, research, engagement and innovation in the creative industries, education, humanities and social sciences. It has an annual budget in excess of $100 million and delivers a range of quality programs to over 8,500 students.
Our next Pro Vice-Chancellor will be a high calibre leader with a demonstrated track record of leadership that has resulted in outcomes that have made a difference. The role requires a focus on research excellence with impact and innovative teaching and learning, while ensuring a first-class student experience. The successful candidate will be expected to lead a program of broad external engagement and relationship building with industry, government and the broader community.
