The Abramson Cancer Center Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting Resource lab, in conjunction with the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, is seeking Resource Technologist C to perform complex high dimensional flow cytometry services to support translational research and pre-clinical trials across multiple institutions . These trials will be performed on a BD FACS Symphony A3, a new 30 parameter analytical cytometer. The position requires extensive knowledge of and experience with high-dimensional flow cytometry using Becton-Dickinson cytometers, with preference for experience on an LSR II or Fortessa. The successful applicant will have experience with panel design and with GLP-like processes. . Responsibilities will include working closely with the Research Project Manager to carry out highly-regulated clinical-type assays, and to implement and adhere to rigorous standard operating procedures to achieve uniformity and reproducibility. Presentations and interactions with the Parker Institute members nationally will require exceptional interactive skills .

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related subject, plus at least 5 years of experience with analytical flow cytometry is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience with blood and tissue processing, cryopreservation, and high-level proficiency with flow cytometers is required.
