Job description

The Disruptive Media Learning Lab's role is to challenge and enhance traditional approaches to teaching and learning. The Lab provides support, expertise and resources to enable initiatives to experiment with new approaches and technologies. The DMLL focuses on innovations in arenas such as Flipped Classrooms, Open Courses, Distance Learning and Gamification. The Lab works closely and engages with the Faculties to embed new approaches to the classroom.

To support our work we are looking for an Innovation and Community Assistant to provide support to aspects of innovation and events delivery, developing and designing web based materials, producing media content where required, and working to promote DMLL through social media.

A primary focus of the role will  be to support staff and students with technical issues and local software support in relation to the Coventry.Domains initiative. Therefore, confidence in communicating with others at all levels is essential as well as an excellent knowledge of word press or other Content Management Systems.
