Applications are invited for the post of Head of Careers and Employability at Royal Holloway, University of London.

This is a highly significant and senior appointment both at Royal Holloway and within the Careers Group, University of London. We are looking for candidates with an established track record in Higher Education Careers and Employability. The ideal candidate will combine proven operational management and delivery capability with the strategic vision to work with colleagues across Royal Holloway to drive a whole-institution approach to this crucial area of student experience and outcomes, set in the broader context of student opportunity. Within Royal Holloway, the post-holder will be directly accountable to the Director of Academic Services.

The post-holder will be a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) of the Careers Group, University of London. As such, she or he will report directly to the Director of the Careers Group. The post-holder will be required to contribute to the strategic direction of the collective and to draw on the resources of Careers Group for the benefit of Royal Holloway and its students and graduates. 

A Head of Service role within the Careers Group is unusual in that it combines a dedicated institutional role, with the scale, resources and collegiality of the broader collective. We would encourage potential candidates to take up the opportunities for informal discussion in order to gain further insight into both Royal Holloway and the Careers Group, university of London.
