The Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO) is looking to recruit an Engagement Assistant to join a dynamic, highly respected and fast-growing Development and Alumni Relations team. The Engagement Assistant will deliver administrative support across DARO’s Engagement Team and be the first point of contact for delivering excellent customer service to our diverse and international audience using a wide range of channels.

The Engagement Assistant will maximise alumni and friends’ involvement with the University through the delivery of first-class communication, including events and volunteering activity support. With significant experience in administration, the role holder will provide hands on administrative support to existing and new flagship alumni engagement programmes including our international visits, Alumni Awards; parents and volunteering programmes.

You will have excellent customer service skills with substantial experience of working with multiple types of customer simultaneously.

Experience in marketing and communications through digital and social media will be essential. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build relationships both within as well as externally to the institution. You will have the ability to take ownership of problems and ensure effective resolutions. Your attention to detail will enable you to maintain a high level of accuracy at all times.
