We are looking for a well-organised, confident and proactive research administrator with strong communication and interpersonal skills to support the Bristol Composites Institute (ACCIS) in the Faculty of Engineering. This globally-renowned centre has a large and varied research portfolio, with almost 200 staff and students; it brings together world-leading academics and partners to deliver skills training, research and technology development.

You will plan activities undertaken within ACCIS and provide support to academic staff, researchers, postgraduate students and project partners. This is a varied role and tasks will include: budget monitoring; maintaining project websites; project administration and reporting; event management (from meetings to conferences); organising travel and research meetings, gathering information and copy for marketing materials and future research bids; managing key relationships across the University and with external contacts. This opportunity would suit an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is comfortable working on a varied portfolio of projects and activities and is able to plan and prioritise workloads successfully.

As well as being a member of the ACCIS Support team, you will be part of the wider Industrial Liaison Office Research Support Network (~30 staff), which provides support and a team environment.

The position is offered on a full-time basis with a fixed term contract for 12 months. The contract may be extended, subject to funding availability.
