University of Bristol Students’ Union role

We’re looking for someone with the passion and experience to drive income through business development throughout the year. Specifically managing our media sales and advertising opportunities portfolio as well as driving sales at our annual Welcome and Refreshers Fairs.

You will be instrumental in seeking and developing new business, onboarding clients and maintaining effective and meaningful relationships with them. You will be selling activation space, digital and social media opportunities, as well as supporting the Student Union to gain sponsorship for key events and activities.

The role will provide a budgeted income that will drive sustainable financial growth to the Students’ Union through sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Hours: Full time (35 hours a week)
Contract: Permanent

  • You’ll have proven experience in driving sales and generating income.
  • You’ll be able to establish and maintain effective and efficient meaningful relationships as a brand ambassador, building strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • You’ll have excellent organisational skills, experience of project management and be self-motivated to deliver to deadlines and achieve targets.
  • You know how to prioritise and effectively communicate at a variety of levels.
