POSITION SUMMARY

Curriculum Manager – Real Estate/ Hospitality Management is responsible for conducting the research and developing curriculum framework, detailed curriculum and teaching materials

This special career opportunity is dedicated for people who are passionate about and keen on making breakthrough changes in the education sector of Vietnam in order to nurture the next generations of leaders for the 21st century and beyond. Individual selected for these positions will be trained to become Lecturers and Assistant Professors when the University makes its debut, to be expected in 2020.  
 
REPORTING LINE
Reports to: Curriculum Development Director
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop and propose standards, procedures and guidelines related to the development and management of curriculum
  • Develop the curriculum framework, detailed curriculum and teaching materials
  • Coordinate the review and validation of curriculum and teaching materials
  • Carry out research and produce publications, or other research outputs
  • Give lectures and gain industrial experience in accordance with the programs of VinUni and its partners
  • Build and maintain the collaboration with partners; organise workshops and researches both national and international.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Master or higher degree from established prestigious universities, preferably PhD
  • Experience in developing curriculum/ educational program about Investment, Real Estate and Hospitality Management following international standards
    Experience in experiential teaching methods such as TBL (Team-based Learning), PBL (Project-based Learning), ABL (Action-based Learning) and simulation…

 

  • Excelent in Vietnamese and English
  • Master a coherent, progressive and creative thinking; to have a spirit and passion for education; to be able to take prompt actions with determination and be ready to take on new challenges.
  • Demonstrate DNA of VinUni: Intergrity, Inspiration, Impact, Innovation and Intergration

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
English is the language of teaching and communication at Vin University. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS (Academic) with a score of at least 7.0.

For Higher Education roles, English Language Proficiency may also be proven by having completed PhD studies while being instructed through the medium of English. 
 
WORK PERMIT 
All foreign employees must adhere to the requirements for obtaining a valid visa and work permit in Vietnam. These requirements are mandated by the Government and may be over and above the mandatory requirements and key selection criteria. Work permit requirements are subject to change.
