University College Dublin is seeking to appoint a Lecturer / Assistant Professor in Applied Mathematics/Statistics in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. This position is part of an ongoing expansion in the areas of Data and Computational Science.
UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics is committed to research and teaching across the mathematical sciences, including mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics and actuarial science.
The successful candidate will be expected to engage in research in Statistics/Applied Maths, including supervision of research students and projects, and to contribute to the School’s wide-ranging programme of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. The School offers a highly successful M.Sc. in Data and Computational Science.
95 Lecturer / Assistant Professor (below the bar) 2010 salary scale: €33,479 - €58,760 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guideline
