The Discipline of Nursing at University of Canberra invites outstanding academics to join our world class education and research team. Our Faculty of Health is home to some pioneering researchers, none more so than recent OAM recipient, Dr Holly Northam. A registered nurse, midwife and now Discipline Lead for Nursing at UC, Holly is teaching the next generation of nurses about empathy and compassion, and how they can put it into practice in the clinical environment.

The successful applicant will be expected to make contributions to the undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching in the Discipline of Nursing, as well as contributing to the faculty research themes. This is your opportunity to be part of a new and innovative learning environment committed to developing high-quality nursing graduates, who with strong education and diverse work-integrated learning experiences, will provide high-quality nursing care.

Reporting to the Discipline Lead you will work collaboratively to design, deliver and coordinate an engaging and inventive learning environment. You will also play a key role in the development of active research program, seeking funding, conducting research and publishing in relevant studies.

You will be known for your leadership style with high level interpersonal skills as well as a PhD in Nursing or eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse.
