We are currently seeking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join the fast paced conference department at the University of Surrey.
Selling lecture rooms and student residences during non-term time and purpose built conference facilities year round, the University of Surrey’s conference team deliver over 300 events a year ranging from small internal meetings to large academic conferences and exhibitions.
The ideal candidate will bring superb communication skills and will have experience managing a busy events diary. They will be organised, have exceptional attention to detail and be highly motivated to work in an environment where customer satisfaction is at the centre of everything we do.
The post holder will work closely with the Events Manager to build client relationships and assist with sales activity to increase business and reach departmental budgets.
To successfully fill this role you will also have excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills and be a self-starter, passionate about exceeding results.
