This your opportunity to play a pivotal role in the future of the University, reporting directly to the General Counsel and providing high level advice to the Chancellor, Council, Vice-Chancellor and other Executives/Committees ensuring excellence in governance and compliance across the University.

Leading a specialist team you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the Governance unit and the provision of robust governance and policy support services to the University, the University Council, Academic Board and their committees.

You will review and maintain the governance, delegations and policy frameworks for the University; supervise the administration of University elections, as well establish and implement good governance practices.

To be successful in this position, you will have demonstrated experience working within a large complex organisation, along with a proven expertise in corporate governance. You will be an innovative and strategic thinker who will bring your knowledge and expertise to the role, building upon quality processes, procedures and systems contributing immediately to the enhancement and delivery of these quality services.

Academic qualifications in management, governance, law and/or similar with clearly demonstrated relevant experience
