Research Assistant

This post is a unique opportunity to work on a ground-breaking five-year programme called EMBED-Care - Empowering Better End of Life Dementia Care funded by the ESRC/NIHR. This ambitious programme aims to provoke and maintain a step-change in care for people with dementia. The post-holder will take a leading role in the development and delivery of research across the programme. This includes developing a conceptual model of integrated palliative dementia care; cohort study on care and outcomes focusing on psychometric validation of a measure for palliative dementia care; and evaluation of a model of integrated palliative dementia care.

We are seeking an innovative, well-organised and promising individual interested in the advancement of palliative care for people with dementia, and motivated to use this opportunity to advance their career in this field. The post-holder will develop a diverse set of research skills and gain experience in research of national and international significance. 

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract ending 31st December 2023. 

This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent. 

The selection process will include an assessment and a panel interview.
