Lecturer in Criminology 

Salary: £33,199 - £39, 609 per annum (Grade 6)

The School of Social Sciences at Cardiff University is looking to appoint a new academic member of staff, a Lecturer within the area of criminology. This position is designed to support an early career scholar, and will attract a reduced teaching load and additional research support during the first two years of appointment.

The post holder will contribute to the research profile of the School through academic scholarship and theoretically informed empirical research leading to published work of the highest quality; they will also deliver high quality and research-led teaching at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Responsible to Professor Tom Hall, Head of School.

The School is particularly interested in interdisciplinary candidates who can contribute to additional related subject areas including social policy, sociology and/or research methods.

This post is full-time, open-ended and available from 1st September 2019.
