Joint Lectureship in Modern Irish Literature Grade 7 

£34,188 - £39,610 pa

The Institute of Irish Studies wishes to appoint a full-time Lecturer from 01 September 2019 to cover teaching topics on Irish literature from the late-eighteenth century to the present. Working closely in tandem with the English Department, the successful candidate will be comfortable with teaching comparative aspects of English literature and will have experience of teaching at undergraduate level at a HE institution. Experience of teaching at a postgraduate level is welcome. You will contribute to REF return in English and will contribute to the Institute of Irish Studies' ongoing outreach activities. You will have a PhD (or be about to obtain) in a relevant discipline (or equivalent qualifications/ experience) and evidence of an emerging track-record of producing high quality research and publications.
