Position Summary:

The Senior Research Fellow will undertake research in Geography aligned with our College Research Themes. The position will take a lead role in developing, managing, and implementing research projects and in the College’s research activities.

These activities include the attraction of external funding, delivering on strategic research objectives, establishing and maintaining industry, government and other research partnerships, identifying commercially relevant outputs and building the University’s national and international reputation through high quality publications and strong research collaborations.

The Senior Research Fellow may coordinate and/or lead the activities of other staff, and/or undertake an active leadership role in research and/or creative activity including leadership of a research team. The Senior Research Fellow will actively supervise and mentor students in major Honours or postgraduate research projects.
