Applications are invited for the post of Deputy Director of Student Administration in the Student Administration Department

Student Administration is responsible for delivering the core administrative functions involved in the student lifecycle, from Enrolment to Graduation. The department is focused on delivering an excellent student experience by developing and delivering effective and efficient processes to support students through their journey at the College. The Department is composed of Student Administration Operations, the Student Services Centre, the Doctoral School, Academic Investigations and the 6 School Administrative Teams.

Working directly with the Director of Student Administration the Deputy Director will support the Director in running the Department and lead the 4 Student Administration Operations teams:

  • Student Records & Enrolment
  • Timetabling & Registrations
  • Assessment & Graduation
  • Student Data & Processes

The Deputy Director will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of effective and efficient services to students and staff through Student Administration Operations and will help drive continuous improvement across Student Administration.This is a senior role, who will work closely with colleagues across the College, the outcomes of which will be of importance to the College meeting its strategic aims.

Candidates should be dynamic and dedicated to providing outstanding support to students and staff. Excellent managerial and leadership skills and an ability to work in a busy and pressurised environment are essential.

Candidates should have extensive knowledge of the High Education sector and student life cycle as well as an ability to deliver information stewardship and management of IT systems.
