Duties

The primary functions of this position include: 1) Serve as the primary coordinator for an ongoing clinical research study. 2) Various coordinator-level responsibilities: Manage recruitment efforts; consent participants and oversee bi-monthly Intakes; managing the overall study calendar, product accountability, and study supply and equipment inventories. 3) Conduct telephone screens, complete 24-hour dietary recalls, and run participant visits (including clinical counseling) per study-specific SOPs. 4) Develop and maintain training materials. Train personnel on center-wide and study-specific SOPs (e.g., data entry/QC, phone screening, data collection, computerized behavioral tasks, etc.). 5) Assist with data collection on an adolescent longitudinal cohort study as necessary. 6) Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year to 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. The candidate should: (1) have practical experience working in a research setting be comfortable interacting with research subjects & research staff. (2) Be familiar with data collection procedures per Good Clinical Practice. (3) Be organized and able to perform in a deadline driven environment. (4) Coordination-level experience is highly preferred.
Valid driver’s license required. Must pass Pennsylvania’s Child Protective Services Act (also known as Act 73) background checks, within 30-90 days of employment.
