Research Fellow - Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management (ISEM)
The selected candidate will work closely with the professor(s) at NUS Business School and Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management (ISEM), National University of Singapore (NUS) on cutting-edge research projects on innovation and technology management, knowledge worker mobility, culture and entrepreneurship, especially in emerging economies like China and ASEAN. The candidate should have advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in management/business, strategy, policy, sociology, economics or related fields. He/she should have good programming/coding skills such as SQL, Python and/or Java and be familiar with statistical packages like STATA or R (STATA preferred) and statistics. Skill and experience with economic modelling and statistical analyses are preferred. Familiarity with data mining and computation techniques, especially in the context of patents, publications, citations and networks is a plus. A Ph.D. degree in management/business, strategy, policy, sociology, economics, social science, or other related fields is desired. Prior experience as a post-doctorate or faculty in these related field is a plus. Prior experience working on research projects in an academic or industry setting is a plus. Knowledge of Chinese language is preferred as candidate is required to deal with information in Chinese.
Appointments will be on a term-contract of one to two years, and renewable when necessary. Salaries are globally competitive and commensurate with candidate's qualifications, track record, potential, experience.
