Position overview

The ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods was established in 2015 to provide a new Australian capability in social research and social policy. The Centre has a focus on: developing social research methods; analysing social issues and policy; training in social science methods; and providing access to social scientific data. The Australian Data Archive is also based within the Centre.

The ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods is seeking to recruit a Centre Manager to assist the Director of the Centre in the next stage of its development.

The Centre Manager is responsible for the provision of high-level administrative support to staff and students in the ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods, to support the achievement of its strategic education and research goals. Responsibilities include support for the Director, educational support for undergraduate and post-graduate teaching and students, research and publications administration, support for visitors, and financial and human resources administration.
