Job description
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated E-Learning Developer.
The successful candidate will contribute within Forensic and Applied Sciences to ensuring that UCLan is making effective use of appropriate learning technologies to create interactive online teaching and learning materials for all police provision. To accomplish this, the holder will work alongside academic staff to design and author a range of self-paced learning packages to support innovations in technology enabled learning and teaching.
The successful applicant will have experience in the design and authoring of self-paced, interactive online learning packages using authoring software such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate and experience of working collaboratively with others (subject matter experts and other specialists) to design and develop online learning packages using sound pedagogical principles.
You will have an honours degree or equivalent industry experience. Membership of the Association of Learning Technologists or similar external professional organisation is desirable.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and presentation skills as well as organisational skills with proven ability to manage your own projects and work to strict and multiple deadlines.
You will be proactive in your approach to learning and to work and have an interest in new and emerging technologies.
