The Faculty of Engineering & Information Sciences at the University of Wollongong is currently recruiting a Marketing and Communications Manager. The successful candidate will coordinate the promotion of the Faculty and its research entities, SMART Infrastructure Facility and the Sustainable Buildings Research Centre, across digital platforms, undertake marketing and public relations activities and coordinate events and other initiatives to promote the Faculty, its staff and activities.

The role will report to the EIS Senior Manager, Student Recruitment & External Relations and will need to have relevant experience and preferably qualifications in journalism, marketing and communications with experience writing for a number of different publications and electronic media.

The Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences offers world class teaching, learning, research and entrepreneurship to meet the challenges of tomorrow. We are a research intensive Faculty with extensive teaching operations throughout Australia, Asia and the Middle East.

The Faculty's research entities are: the SMART Infrastructure Facility, a world class comprehensive research and teaching facility of integrated laboratories that addresses the way that infrastructure related disciplines are taught and researched. SMART is the first of its kind in Australia, and one of the very few in the world.

The Sustainable Buildings Research Centre, a 6 Star Green Star- Education Design accredited, multi-disciplinary facility that hosts a wide range of research and industry collaborations to address the challenges of making buildings sustainable.
