Would you like to be a key member of a significant strategic improvement programme: Student Lifecycle Support Programme (SLSP)?

The University of Bristol have initiated SLSP to create user-friendly systems and a seamless administrative framework to support both staff and students. Working within an Agile/SCRUM delivery methodology, you will be part of the Data Team to deliver the data migration from the current Student Record System to the new one (SITS – Tribal)

We are seeking two talented individuals who have experience of working within large and complex IT project environments and experience of enterprise scale data migration activities, including the phased migration of data from legacy to new systems.

You must have extensive database and Structured Query Language (SQL) skills and significant experience writing and tuning complex queries. It is desirable that you have skills in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or a similar ETL tool.

You must be able to work well both as a member of a team and under your own initiative. The ability to communicate fluently and to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.

Individuals are required to be available as soon as possible, and no more less than three months from offer.

For informal enquiries, please contact Chris Bowden (chris.bowden@bristol.ac.uk), Senior IT Project Manager.

The deadline for applications is 11:59pm on Wednesday 17th April 2019

We appreciate and value difference, seeking to attract, develop and retain a diverse mix of talented people that will contribute to the overall success of Bristol and help maintain our position as one of the world’s leading universities.
