The Department of Economics at the University of Bristol invites applications from excellent candidates in all fields of economics and econometrics. Applicants should demonstrate the ability to publish in top international journals; for Senior Lecturer/ Reader they should have a strong track record of publications and ideally have secured grant funding. Applicants should also be able to teach to the highest standards at undergraduate and masters level.

This is an exciting chance to join a growing Department of Economics, ranked 6th in the UK for the quality of its research in the last UK research exercise (REF2014). The Department has more than 50 permanent staff who align with four broad research groups – applied microeconomics, theory, econometrics and macroeconomics. It is looking to expand further on the back of strong student demand at undergraduate and post-graduate level.
