To support the ongoing growth of our International Office we are looking to recruit an International Business Development Officer to be responsible for developing and implementing the International Office business development plans and recruitment activities for target audiences in overseas territories; helping the International Office to deliver its portfolio of activities globally and achieve their student recruitment and partner targets.
The International Business Development Officer will provide integral business development and market expertise in line with regional plans and recruitment objectives, ensuring delivery through the appropriate regional market plans.
The post holder will be responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of integrated business development and market plans for a set of designated international regions across the International Office.
To succeed in this role you will need a good all-round knowledge of business development and marketing practices, as well as an extremely organised and composed approach with the ability to multitask a number of different priorities and projects at the same time.
This role will suit an ambitious, resourceful and organised individual who wants to join a well-known international business and gain invaluable experience in a commercial, sales driven environment. You will need to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills, have the ability to work on your own initiative and be able to build strong business relationships with a range of stakeholders.
With a degree or equivalent qualification in a discipline with a strong marketing focus, you'll need demonstrable experience of working in a busy marketing role. A professional qualification such as a Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification as well as previous line management experience would be advantageous.
