Job description

FULL-TIME, Permanent

Coventry University is a dynamic, global and transformational University Group committed to creating better futures and being world leading in all that we do.  The institution's commitment to international engagement is detailed in the Coventry University Group International Strategy to 2020/21 and the CU Group Corporate Plan, but is most clear in the extent to which global engagement is evident in all that we do - including the diversity of our student body, the globally relevant nature of our curriculum and the extensive range of international experiences on offer.

The institution is recognised as being at the forefront of efforts to enhance the student experience through global engagement as we recognise this activity significantly enhances career prospects and contributes directly to employability.

To continue this focus we are seeking a committed and high performing individual for the post of Internationalisation Manager to support the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) and working closely with the Faculty Associate Dean (International), you will contribute to the development of the Faculty's internationalisation strategy, monitoring its implementation and working directly in support of its operationalization to deliver agreed Faculty and Group targets. You will have line management responsibility for the Internationalisation Office team for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

Educated to Master's degree level, or with relevant skills and experience, you will work with key stakeholders across the University Group, as well as developing international networks, to support and facilitate a wide range of internationalisation activities.

You will need to thrive in a fast-moving, results-driven environment. You will be highly organized, able to prioritize effectively to ensure deadlines are met and have excellent communication and IT skills. You will be able to work on your own initiative, as well as collaboratively and leading your team to enable the Faculty to achieve its targets.
