Research Fellow/Associate in Health Economics

The School of Population Health and Environmental Sciences is seeking to appoint an excellent researcher who is keen to help improve the efficiency of delivering health services and contribute to the methodological development of economic evaluation. They will be excited about the potential contribution and challenges of using both routine and trial data to improving our understanding of health service use, cost and health outcomes. 

Our work will focus on the journey to and consequences of multi-morbidity as well as comparing universal versus targeted services for child health. The research is embedded within our local population of Lambeth and Southwark, but with a view to national and international implications.

The candidate will handle large data sets proficiently, provide considered analyses to multi-disciplinary audiences on time, write clearly, and have excellent experience with undertaking economic evaluations. Our excellent and wide ranging staff development programme will support career progression.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract, with a contract end date of 30 June 2022. 
This is a full-time post. 
The selection process will include a presentation and panel interview.
