Reporting to the Professor Angela Duckworth, this position will be responsible for all aspects of the Duckworth Lab research portfolio. In particular, this position will oversee empirical and theoretical research on the psychology of achievement and character development, with a special emphasis on philosophical underpinnings and interdisciplinary perspectives on human development.

  • Master’s degree in Psychology or Philosophy and 5 to 7 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Phd strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge in statistics (including experience with multi-level modeling, structural equation modeling, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and meta-analysis) required
  • 10+ years full-time experience working as a practitioner (counselor, coach, or therapist) in the field of behavior change strongly preferred
  • Highly effective interpersonal communication and writing skills required
  • Track record of exemplary project management and team facilitation skills required
  • Fierce work ethic and sense of purpose, with the ability to work well as part of a dynamic environment required
